M/S K. SUGU & ASSOCIATES was established in 2007 and is now an expanding Partnership which provides customized legal services and more personalized attention to its clients’ needs. The Firm believes in upholding high professional standards & practices whilst maintaining its professional code of conduct and ethics highly consistent with the Legal Profession Act.
The Firm strives to deliver practical & cost effective legal measures to its clients and we often advocate out of court settlements whenever necessary and wherever practical to save our clients’ valuable time & expense. The Firm currently consists of the interaction of three partners and a network of Associates who have various experiences and expertise in the field of Litigation spanning over twenty (20) years each. We provide legal advice, opinions and professional work on a wide spectrum in areas of the law for individual clients, as well as for commercial and corporate establishments.
The Firm is dedicated to providing innovative and effective legal solutions and managing complex and highly technical disputes in various areas of the Law for the Firm’s clientele. In addition to the broad spectrum of contentious litigation work, we strive to ensure high quality representation for our clients. Due to our expertise, dedication and efficient management, the Partners of the Firm are often from time to time engaged as counsels for other legal firms. The Firm together with the cooperation of its Associates strives to provide a comprehensive range of Legal services to a large cross section of individuals, corporations and commercial establishments.
- Drafting of Legal Opinions on various areas of the law
- Drafting of Letters for clients – for those involving technical issues of the law, in replying and/or counter replying disputes
- Sending out Letters of Demand
- Answers to legal queries over the telephone i.e legal advice at the instance of a phone call and via emails upon being appointed
- Perusal of Cause Papers, contentious documents and rendering advice based on legal understanding and the legal ramifications of such documents
- Legal research on areas of the law in which a dispute may arise
- Representations at Domestic Inquiries, Solicitor’s Disciplinary Board Hearings, official business meetings, dispute negotiations, mediation sessions, and attendances to provide legal advice and assistance
K. SUGU & ASSOCIATES offer the most competitive legal fee structure within the market rate and legal bills are usually issued in stages, in accordance to work done at every stage. The Firm usually sends out its Scale Fees upon request by a potential client and our fees are reasonably reduced when our services relate to matters in bulk.
The Firm enables its clients to reduce its legal costs on a case to case basis in this manner, thus providing an efficient and more cost effective approach in tackling their legal matters.
