Community Need, Local Solution

The College of Law was established to provide quality legal education, focused on experiential learning and community partnerships, especially in the service of northeast Florida, and beyond.

Located in the VyStar Tower, our students are positioned amid a vibrant downtown. The College of Law is a 10-minute walk from the Duval County Courthouse, where our students can observe courtroom proceedings and make use of the courthouse’s extensive legal library.

Our community extends beyond the Jacksonville city limits; it is wherever our students and graduates reside. The Jacksonville University College of Law aims to educate future lawyers, lawmakers, and leaders by providing the knowledge, skills, and resources they need to succeed and make a difference in their communities. To make this more accessible, all of our J.D. students are eligible for competitive scholarship levels. Currently, 100% of our admitted students have received a merit scholarship.
